Creamy, buttery, cheesy and cannabis-filled, these Magical Mashed Potatoes are a staple of the Danksgiving table. You won’t even want to pass them around and may eat them all yourself!
Magical Mashed Potatoes
6 large potatoes, russet, golden yellow or red – whatever variety you prefer
2-4 tablespoons of cannabis-infused butter
¾ cup of heavy cream, half and half or whole milk – what you choose depends on how creamy you like the potatoes
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
A dash of garlic power (or one clove of fresh, chopped garlic)
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Heat up your oven to 375 degrees.
Wash and peel the potatoes, and prepare a large pot of boiling water.
Chop the potatoes in quarters and boil in water for about 20 minutes, until they are squishy when you poke them with a fork.
Drain the potatoes and place them in a large bowl. Mash well.
Add the cream, butter, cheese and spices. Mix well.
Place the potatoes in a large oven safe dish and bake for about 25 minutes, until golden brown on top.
You can turn the oven off and keep them there to stay warm until you’re ready to serve them.
