Nugs: Medium and tight, yellowish tinge. Green/yellow hips of color and very sticky.
Odor: Woodsy and cheesy but light and fruity.
Taste: Pleasant and sweet, like gumdrops. Aftertaste is pine-y and light.
High: Mellow but immediate, it rolls at you from behind and envelops you.
Sour Kush
This strain is another classic grown by Farmer J’s farms. It immediately delivers a bright, “head in the clouds” high. A delightful cross between Sour Diesel and OG Kush, this strain packs quite a punch. It makes the user feel light and floaty without feeling overwhelmingly high or sedated.
The flavor of this weed really is sour. Many people report it smells and tastes a bit like banana, but we weren’t able to tell. The sourness becomes obvious in both the taste and odor but is quickly easy to get over once the high rolls over you.
Although it’s a Sativa-dominant, Sour Kush can be pretty effective against insomnia. It’s a euphoric head-high that will bring you heavily fantastical dreams. Roast a bright yellow bowl of this delicious strain and you’ll have the choice to either doze off to sleep or run out and climb a mountain.
