DOJ Gives OK to Native American Tribes to Grow MJ

A decision by the Department of Justice in December, 2014 allows Native American tribes to grow and sell marijuana on their land. Allowing Native Americans to regulate marijuana is another large populous allowed to participate in legal marijuana. Tribes themselves have mixed feelings about the announcement by the DOJ. Oregon Boards the Train: Legalizes Recreational Marijuana

Voters in Oregon passed Measure 91 to legalize recreational marijuana for citizens over the age of 21 on November 4th, 2014.  Oregon is now added to the list of one of the first states to legalize recreational marijuana with 56.11 percent of the voters in favor of the measure.
