Thursday, April 19th
Food and Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA
California rolled out legal weed in January, and there is plenty to celebrate! tökr, a personalized cannabis and dispensary-finder app, is hosting an event on Thursday, April 19, starting at 5:30PM at Los Angeles State Historic Park. Friday, April 20th
SoCal Cannabis Cup in San Bernardino, CA
One of the biggest cannabis gatherings of the year, the SoCal Cannabis Cup is back! Featuring Lil Wayne and Nas, the event runs from 4/20-4/22 at the National Orange Events Center in San Bernardino. Admission ranges from $60-$420 and you must be 18+.
Damon Dash “Meet and Greet” at REEF Dispensary in Las Vegas, NV
In celebration of 4/20, GFIVE Cultivation, the first-ever owned and operated cultivation in Las Vegas, and mogul Damon Dash will launch their new customized strain, KING DUSKO exclusively at REEF Dispensary. The Gateway Show in Seattle, WA
Are you a comedy fan? Don’t miss The Gateway Show at the Broadway Performance Hall in Seattle this 4/20. It’s a 420-inspired laugh-fest featuring Ivan Decker and Rachel Walls. Open to those 18+, and cost is $20-25.
Hippie Hill in San Francisco, CA
Celebrating 4/20 with thousands of other like-minded friends at Hippie Hill is a San Francisco tradition said to date back to the 1970’s. This year’s celebration is very special as it marks the first year that cannabis is legal for adult-use in California. It’ll be held at Robin Williams Meadow in San Francisco, and free for those 18+.
Smoke Fest in Glendale, Arizona
Looking for an event in Arizona this weekend? Stop by Smoke Fest at Eddie’s Lounge in Glendale, AZ for live music, delicious food trucks, cool swag bags, and more. Put on by Go4Twenty annually and sponsored by Arizona Organix. It’s free for those 18+.
40th Anniversary of Cheech & Chong’s Up in Smoke in Hanford, CA
Up in Smoke is a 1978 American stoner comedy film directed by Lou Adler and Cheech & Chong’s first feature-length film. Celebrate its 40th anniversary with this special 420 screening. All ages are welcome, although the film is rated R, and it’s under $10.
Bayked in San Diego, CA
Bayked is a celebration of community, fun, and education on this very special day from 3pm-10pm PT. Come and enjoy life and spread the Feel Good vibes with a group of wonderful (21+) individuals. Cannabis Film Fest in Palm Springs, CA
This Film Fest at Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs has something for everybody. With a whole series on the business case side of cannabis and another on the Green Rush of cannabis, attendees will leave better informed than they were when they came. The End of Prohibition Party by Civilized
Taking place on April 22 at The Montalbán Theater in Hollywood, Civilized’s bash and movie screening is set to be an exciting part of this weekend’s 4/20 festivities. There will be a prohibition-era Jazz Band, Lizzy & The Triggermen, followed by a special Rooftop Screening of the “Jeff Sessions-approved” original version of Reefer Madness.
