The road to blazing just got another cobblestone laid down, this time in the country of Italy. Both political parties surprised everyone by supporting the idea of marijuana legalization in a country that has previously had a tumultuous stance on bud. More than 60 politicians backed a law that proposed legalization of weed nationwide.
According to Della Vedova, “This shows that even in Italy, a pragmatic approach, based on a rigorous cost-benefit analysis, is now increasingly popular in the political and cultural debate, not only outside but also inside the parliament.”
