The MJBizCon 2018 cannabis business conference truly had activities for everyone. Some came for investment opportunities, while others traveled to Las Vegas to find suppliers and vendors, product inspiration and more. The wide variety in exhibitors and attendees at the conference showed how diverse the cannabis plant is, and how the industry has created such big business from it.

Taste
From infused pop rocks and cannabis-shaped chocolates to beautifully infused small bites and CBD sodas, the tastes of cannabis have moved far beyond sweet, sour, ‘diesel’ or ‘cheese.’ Cannabis chefs and products companies are creating high-quality infusions that unless you asked, you’d never know contained THC or CBD. Moving beyond the pot brownie was something on display at MJBizCon 2018, and our taste buds are very happy.
A particular favorite was the glazed cinnamon buns with lemon Durban poison infused cream cheese created by Exclusive Chefs at the CannaNewswire Wake & Bake showcase brunch.
Touch
Las Vegas is in the desert, which makes for very dry skin. Luckily, several CBD topicals companies were prepared! The CBD infused lotion helped relax the body and repair damaged skin, while making your hands feel smooth and silky. Some favorites were Brand Newe Lotions, Jenny’s Baked at Home, Crooked Cactus CBD, and Dr. Kerklaan Therapeutics.
Smell
The buzzword ‘terpene’ was all over the floor at MJBizCon, with companies like True Terpenes bringing interactive exhibits to show attendees about how terpenes are everywhere around us, and affect your senses in different way. By smelling different terpenes like limonene or myrcene, you can tell which ones your body likes better than others. Terepes are then used by cannabis cultivators and product creators to enhance the scent and experiences of enjoying cannabis.

Sight
Cannabis is a beautiful plant and it deserves to be appreciated! With giant interactive buds to hang out next to and rooms with different trippy and eccentric themes, the Cannabition Cannabis Museum has created a space where visitors can go to look at the artsy and wonderful world of cannabis. Hint: it makes for great photoshoots!
Sound
Breakout speeches, panels, and dinners provided insight and commentary into trends, predictions, successes, and challenges faced by the cannabis industry today.
